Conference Information
The Commission organized a Health Conference on June 10, that focused on bringing State, Community and Health Care Organizations representatives to share their programs/services and discuss ways on how to build partnerships to address the needs of the Middle Eastern community health needs and services. The Conference was sponsored by Lifebridge and took place in Baltimore.
The Conference:
- Increased the knowledge and raised awareness of the Middle Eastern community health needs
- Explored health disparities that permeate the Middle Eastern Community
- Fostered opportunities for partnerships and collaborations
- Highlighted best practice models to minimize barriers to quality care and providing access to culturally and linguistically appropriate services
